Ihre Aufgaben

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer you are actively, ambitiously and independently contributing to the quality assurance of our core banking system (Avaloq) as well as other in-house developed applications and provide creation and maintenance of our automated test cases universe.

Your key tasks include:

• Write automated test scripts based on received specifications
• Continuously increase the automation coverage
• Ensure automated test cases to run without failures
• Execute test cases and conduct detailed analysis and validation
• Enhance the automation framework
• Support implementing/maintaining/improving CI/CD

You hold a degree in Computer Science (university or university of applied sciences) or a similar qualification and have several years of practical experience in the field of Test Automation.

In addition, you bring the following skills and qualifications:

• Certification/education in IT System Administration, System Engineering or correlated courses
• A strong understanding of programming languages fundamentals
• Banking area experience is an advantage (Avaloq experience is a big advantage)
• Experience with advanced Excel proficiency and SQL is required, knowledge in System Architectures and API's as well as PL/SQL are an advantage
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems and micro service architectures will give you room to grow into new challenges over time
• Communicating effectively and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate with users at all levels of the business will be important to succeed
• Fluency in English, fluency in German is a plus 
• Willingness to work fully onsite (100%)
