Senior Pension Fund Accountant (100%)

Your profile

• Advanced professional training (University of Applied Sciences or Federal Diploma) or equivalent training in accounting;
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, including experience in account closing;
• Knowledge of occupational pension accounting is desirable;
• Native French speaker with excellent German skills (C1) or vice versa; good English skills (B2) are an advantage;
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and accounting software;
• Organisational skills, autonomy, flexibility in contacts, team spirit;
• Good knowledge of Swiss and international accounting standards.

Your responsibilities

• Management and responsibility for several client portfolios;
• Maintaining pension fund accounting (employee benefits, securities, real estate);
• Posting closing entries (accruals, capital movements, adjustments of technical items, etc.);
• Reconciliation of accounting interfaces, implementation of automation;
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and analysis of P&L accounts;
• Annual and interim closings;
• Preparation of annual accounts and notes according to SWISS GAAP RPC26;
• Participation in improving accounting procedures;
• Organisation and monitoring of the audit of annual accounts.
