For one of our clients in Geneva, we are recruiting a Senior DevOps Engineer - Datacentre Infrastructures who is open-minded and client-oriented, is passionate about his work, who believes in success and has a strong team spirit. **Responsibilities**:
* Design, build, operate and continuously improve infrastructure platforms, including centralised storage and SAN.
* Keep infrastructure secure, up to date and online.
* Develop internal tooling and processes that improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.
* Promote infrastructure software development practices and DevOps.
* Teach, mentor, grow and advise other domain experts and teams in the organisation.
* Participate in on-call duties in rotation with other team members.
**Profile**:
* Engineering or university degree.
* Significant knowledge of architecture topics such as integration, security and storage technologies (Kubernetes, Ceph, Cinder).
* Proficiency in software craftsmanship practices, programming and scripting languages (Python, Java, Go, bash, PowerShell).
* Experience with infrastructure management tools (monitoring and observability, logging, configuration management).
* Deeply curious, ready to help, always learning new skills and technologies.
* Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Focuses on proactive strategies to prevent issues before they occur.
* Fluent in French and English.
* Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate
