Benefits in Visp: https://bit.ly/3wjkoFi Key accountabilities and duties Managing manufacturing campaigns from planning through execution and documentation in the area of mammalian cell culture. Leading multi-disciplinary project teams as Functional Lead for all manufacturing aspects of assigned products. Ensuring regulatory compliance by conducting SHE, EM, operational, and cleaning risk analyses, establishing production documentation, and implementing new regulatory requirements. Overseeing cGMP manufacturing, including batch execution, troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues. Acting as the production expert for capital projects, providing input for the setup, commissioning, and qualification of manufacturing suites, equipment, and automation. Implementing GMP documents and training operators for assigned products, while also supporting management with training and planning. Representing Lonza Manufacturing during customer audits and visits, and driving innovation and improvement initiatives. Standardising technical processes across the production plant. Qualifications and skills required Bachelor / Master Degree or equivalent experience and (Highly) advanced Work experience in this field Upstream experience is required and preferred area of study: Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related fields Broad biotechnology expertise and/or knowledge in biotechnical engineering preferable in the area of Mammalian cell culture; Proficient in English, German preferred and GMP understanding Strong leadership skills; very good interpersonal skills and interaction with all kinds of interfaces within the organization; strong team orientation and structured, focused and well-organized working attitude; open-minded for new ideas and suggestions Highly motivated and driven; dedicated to finding solutions Every day, Lonza-s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
