The Court of Audit of the Republic and Canton of Geneva is looking for an:Experienced Auditor at %A unique opportunity to contribute to Geneva's public authoritiesUnder the supervision of a mission manager and within the audit unit, you will carry out performance and compliance audits aimed at verifying the proper use of public funds according to the principles of economy, effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of public service. Hired under private law, you will have the opportunity to contribute with complete independence and within multidisciplinary teams to the high quality of the Court's services. You will also benefit from a modern and flexible work environment, with flexible hours and the possibility of teleworking.Tasks- Participate in the design of performance and compliance audit missions;- Collect and analyze data and information with high added value aimed at addressing identified risks and issues;- Write audit reports intended for the general public;- Monitor the implementation of recommendations issued;- Supervise subordinate auditors.Profile- University master's degree or equivalent in a field relevant to the position (finance, economics, management, etc.), ideally accompanied by a diploma as a certified public accountant or certified internal auditor (CIA);- Recent professional experience of at least five years in an external/internal audit or financial oversight/controlling activity;- Experience in the fields of performance management, cost reduction, and resource optimization;- Excellent command of standard tools and experience in the extraction, analysis, and visualization of data using software or business intelligence;- Critical and analytical mind accompanied by a strong capacity for synthesis, very good oral communication skills, and great ease in writing;- Good knowledge of public administration in Switzerland and German are an asset.About the Court of AuditThe Court of Audit is responsible for the independent and autonomous control of the State, municipalities, public law institutions, and subsidized private organizations. The controls carried out by the Court are at its own discretion and aim to contribute to improving the management and performance of public authorities. Its audits aim to propose solutions to promote objectives while spending less or doing better with the same means.
