A true reference in the high-end swimwear segment, the brand embodies an elegant yet relaxed art de vivre, inspired by the French Riviera.With a worldwide network of more than 200 boutiques, Vilebrequin continues to expand its universe through complete collections for men, women, and children—each designed as a genuine invitation to travel.Senior Accountant – US & European EntitiesReporting to the Accounting & Consolidation Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial integrity of our US entity (primary scope) and one additional European subsidiary.The role is structured around two distinct strategic pillars:US Entity (Primary Focus) : Due to its scale and complexity, you will act as the lead accountant for the US scope. You will work in close collaboration with the US Finance team, with a particular focus on the accounting management of high-volume inventory flows and gross margin integrity.European Subsidiary : You will oversee the accounting and financial reporting of an additional European entity. This involves working directly with local operational teams in Europe to ensure financial accuracy and full alignment with Group standards.Main ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Compliance :Lead monthly closing processes for assigned entities, including accruals, provisions, and prepaid expenses.Work closely with the US Finance team on daily operations and strategic alignment.Manage the full payroll integration and control cycle.Ensure accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations (USD & EUR), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).Oversee the full fixed assets lifecycle: acquisitions, capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.Coordinate intercompany transactions and reconciliations with the US shareholder.Inventory & Margin Management :Perform data extractions from ERP systems.Reconcile sales across all distribution channels and platforms.Track and reconcile inventory movements and valuation through monthly reconciliations between ERP inventory modules and the General Ledger.Conduct detailed margin analysis by channel, identifying and explaining variances related to landed costs, discounts, in-transit inventory, and shrinkage.Reporting, Controlling & Internal Audit :Prepare monthly reporting packages for management, providing clear insights into P&L performance drivers.Perform variance analyses (Actual vs. Budget vs. Forecast) in close collaboration with the FP&A team.Present financial statements and performance analyses to the US Leadership team.Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, workflows, and internal control frameworks.Candidate ProfileEducation & Experience :Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.A Swiss Federal Diploma (Brevet Fédéral) is a strong asset.Minimum of 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.Technical & Soft Skills :Fluent English and French are mandatory for daily communication within the Group.Advanced Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP); strong ability to extract and manipulate data from ERP systems.Proven analytical skills with the ability to handle large datasets and reconcile complex sub-ledgers.High level of autonomy, attention to detail, and ability to work across multiple time zones and business cultures.Why Join Us?Join an iconic international luxury Maison with strong heritage and global reachExposure to complex US accounting scope and international operationsHigh level of responsibility and autonomyCollaborative, multicultural working environment jid1f0b2f8afr jit0206afr jpiy26afr
