Description
For our client, a global player in the pharmaceutical industry, we are looking for a qualified professional to join the team as a Scientist / Lab Technician Assay Development (m/f/d), available immediately or by mutual agreement.
Responsibilities
- Operate and work with high-throughput laboratory analyzers
- Perform routine laboratory work with infectious samples and independently conduct and analyze experiments
- Plan and execute various work packages related to the development of molecular diagnostic tests
- Participate in project meetings and present experimental data to stakeholders
- Accurately document experiments in electronic laboratory notebooks in compliance with GMP standards
- Handle, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment
- Conduct statistical data analysis using various software tools (e.g., JMP)
- Prepare and author official technical documentation, such as Design History Files (DHFs).
Profile
- Degree as a Biomedical Analyst Scientist (BMA HF), completed apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician (Biology, Medical Diagnostics, or Chemistry), or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Life Sciences with hands-on laboratory experience
- Ideally 2+ years of practical laboratory experience, including exposure to data analysis and biostatistical methods
- Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German language skills are considered an advantage
- Collaborative and open-minded team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a structured and organized approach to work
- Flexible, self-driven professional with strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities and the capability to work independently
