Present in three cantons, the HEMU – University of Music offers multidisciplinary education in classical music, jazz, and contemporary music at the university level (Bachelor/Master) to 520 students from more than 45 countries and is part of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland (HES-SO).We are opening a position for:Scientific Assistant HES - Research and Development Support at 50%Your missionsR&I activities of the HEMU- Support the Director of Research in all their activities and contribute to the fluidity of interactions between R&I activities and the various departments of the HEMU- Advise researchers in the preparation of their funding applications (financial setup, methodological framework) and in the drafting of their final reports- Contribute to the organization and dissemination of public activities linked to research projects- In collaboration with the communication department of the HEMU, ensure the updating of communication tools for the mission (dedicated pages of the website, agenda, Newsletter)- With La Manufacture, design the communication of the IRMAS lab music, performing arts and society and keep up to date the monitoring tools and various dashboards necessary for monitoring the R&I activities of the HEMU (research)- Ensure the monitoring of R&I projects (budget monitoring, links with HR and finance departments)- Ensure the monitoring of doctoral students supported by the HEMU (invoices, expense reports, interim reports)- Participate in the drafting of annual activity reports (HEMU-CL annual report, DGES report, IRMAS report)Your profile- Master's degree in music, arts, or humanities, a doctorate is a plus- Strong interest in research in music or arts and in knowledge sharing- Good understanding of the issues and mechanisms of research funding and Research and Innovation (RI) in Switzerland- Knowledge of the Swiss academic landscape (HES-SO, swissuniversities) or ability to familiarize oneself with it quickly- Proven writing skills- Rigor, curiosity, autonomy, and commitment- Taste for teamwork and collaboration in an institutional setting- Ability to serve the research projects of others- Mastery of usual tools, ease with office and/or video software is a plus- Basic budget monitoring knowledge- Fluent command of French and English, ideally GermanWe offer- A flexible, dynamic, and varied artistic environment- Teamwork with other members of the administration, teachers, and students- A workplace with excellent infrastructure and a collegial atmosphere- A recruitment policy in favor of equal opportunitiesStart date: September 1st or to be agreed uponWorkplace: HEMU Vaud, LausanneSalary class: Determined in connection with the LHEV function (RRCM Scale)Recruitment competition: Tuesday, July 14, in person in LausanneCandidates will be informed of the outcome of the application selection on Wednesday, July 8.Information: Director of ResearchWe look forward to receiving your complete application file (curriculum vitae, cover letter, copies of diplomas and work certificates) by July 6. jid9cd17edaen jit0625aen jpiy26aen
