The Forest and Nature Service (SFN) is responsible for managing and preserving forests, biotopes, landscapes, protecting biodiversity, and promoting flora and fauna while preventing hazards and organizing forestry activities. It has a territorial presence covering the entire canton of Fribourg. Its diverse tasks are coordinated at the central level and implemented in forest districts as well as in wildlife monitoring regions. Why join us? You are responsible for the implementation and monitoring of inventory and management of dry grasslands and wetlands in the canton of Fribourg. You are responsible for the X program in the canton of Fribourg. You advocate for the interests of landscape protection in the implementation of agricultural policy. You maintain close collaboration with the 3rd forest district regarding natural and landscape issues. Desired profile: You hold a Master's degree in agronomy, biology, environmental sciences, or equivalent. You have several years of professional experience related to agricultural policy. You have good knowledge and/or experience in the following areas: biotope management, land use planning, species protection, landscape protection. You are comfortable with oral and written communication. You have a strong sense of responsibility and wish to commit to public service. You have good analytical skills and a global vision (network thinking). You hold a valid driving license (B category).
