The specialized schools that are members of AGOEER welcome students with special needs and offer them tailored support. As part of the health system for the specialized schools that are members of the federation, AGOEER is looking for a school physician specializing in education.Your missionUnder the responsibility of the management of the concerned institutions, you will be the response physician for the AGOEER health system consisting of 2 specialized education school nurses, operating in 6 institutions by ensuring preventive care and advising the management of the institutions on all matters related to students' health, while adhering to prescriptions based on the reference documents provided by the Health and Youth Service of the DIP (SSEJ), and ensuring compliance with the regulations set by the cantonal health authorities (law on epidemics, directives from the cantonal doctor, etc.).You will assume medical authority in cases assigned to you and will ensure medical intervention in cases of abuse, being involved in the reporting procedures to child protection authorities, in conjunction with the student support network. You will participate in epidemic monitoring and the management of epidemics in the school environment. You will coordinate the measures to be taken with various stakeholders (management of the institutions, SSEJ, families, SPMi, social services, etc.).You will be the point of reference for establishing the necessary procedures for managing the health needs of children with specific health conditions (diabetes, epilepsy), especially for the management and administration of treatments in case of an acute crisis or during camps and outings.The position is based at Sgipa, but its sphere of responsibility covers 6 member institutions of AGOEER. Holder of a postgraduate qualification (FMH X equivalent) preferably in pediatrics or general internal medicine. Specific knowledge in the fields of neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders, disability issues, as well as chronic conditions (diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, etc.). Good knowledge of specialized institutions and the medico-social environment. Skills in listening, availability, autonomy, and rigor.
