Don t be shy, apply!Compliance Officer - SanctionsAre you eager to take up a new challenge? Join the Compliance Department as a Compliance Officer in the Compliance Support and Sanctions service. You will have multiple tasks and on top of the sanction topics, you will be exposed to a wide range of Compliance activities on the financial security aspect. Your role will include:Sanctions:- Perform due diligence on clients and parties during the onboarding phases as well as periodic or ad hoc review phases.- Perform analysis of true sanctions hits by the Compliance Monitoring as part of the sanction screening done on the client base and on the transactional activity of our clients.- Assess potential exposure to sectoral sanctions, export controls, dual-use goods and sanctioned industries.- Provide guidance regarding acceptance, rejection or exit of client relationships and advise other compliance officers on sanction monitoring.- Keep up to date on sanction news impacting the bank and analysis of the impact on our client base, and analyse the impact of new sanctions and maintain sanctions policies and procedures in the context of sanctions screening systems.Reporting:- Contribute to the bank s monitoring of risk tolerance, risk analysis and key risk indicators.- Handle ad hoc reporting requests: special requests, audits, reviews.- Provide targeted training on sanctions.- Drafting of internal memos and procedures and advice to stakeholders in Financial Crime.Knowledge in Swiss banking and financial laws.Analytical and methodological approach.Very good writing and communication skills in French and English (Other languages is a plus).Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.Excellent command of Powerpoint.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage high workload.The team enjoys working in multicultural, dynamic, technological and challenging environment.BackgroundBachelor or Master Degree in Laws or Economics with appetite for data crunching and 3 to 5+ years of experience in the financial industry.Please note Swissquote never requests sensitive personal information or payment of any kind during the recruitment process.
