In this role, you will handle our customer's chemical samples and ensure their proper storage and handling. This role is a permanent, full-time position, based at our pharma customer's site in Basel. Next to the base salary, we offer flexible working hours, an annual bonus, training opportunities, and a company pension scheme.Working hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 (40 hours/week). Starting hours can be flexible.In this role you will thrive and make an impact:- Manage the samples in the internal database and adjust as necessary- Book received chemical samples according to requirements (GMP, non-GMP, stability samples)- Manage samples under different storage conditions- Issue and receive samples to and from customers- Tracking of samples according to requirements via the defined channels- Communicate to the customers/sample owners in case of queries about disposals- Compliance with the specified framework conditions (temperature and type of storage)Required qualifications:- Completed Degree in Chemistry or Biology (EFZ, Bachelor's)- Experience: First hands-on experience with managing chemical samples- Knowledge of GxP rules would be an asset- Experience in computerized system environments and guidelines is desired- Good IT user knowledge of Excel and LIMS is an advantage- Fluency in English is a must, fluent German proficiency is an advantage- Detail-oriented and structured working style- Customer-friendly with a willingness to help both the customer and your team- Ability to take initiative and work with our customer to continuously expand and improve our servicesWhat we offerWhy Avantor?Dare to go further in your career.
