At our Motion, Power, Sensing Division site based in Fribourg, we are currently looking for a Safety Management System Engineer.As a Safety Management System Engineer, you support the development, and continuous improvement of the SMS. You will manage policies, risk management processes, safety reporting, audits, and performance monitoring to ensure compliance with applicable requirements and promote a proactive safety culture. The main responsibilities for this role are as follows:- Maintain and administer the SMS framework, manuals, procedures, and SMS documentation to ensure consistent application- Organize and track follow-up actions for SRB (Safety Review Board) & SAG (Safety Action Group) meetings- Track progress on safety objectives and follow up on assigned actions- Contribute to hazard and risk assessment activities (risk registers, workshops, reviews)- Promote and manage safety reporting channels (confidential/voluntary reporting, occurrence reporting)- Develop SMS awareness programs for employees and contractorsYour Profile- Degree (Bs/Ms) in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Aeronautical Engineering- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in the industry, with relevant experience in SMS- Strong knowledge of quality systems, processes, and safety regulations of EASA (Part 145, Part M, Part 21G, Part 21J), SMS, AS9100, Human Factors- Familiarity with quality and safety management tools, concepts, and methodologies- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail- Self-starter with initiative and problem-solving skills- Rigor and ability to manage multiple priorities- Curiosity and continuous improvement mindset- Fluency in both French and English (written and verbal); German is a plusIf you are looking for a challenging position with the opportunity to grow in a truly global company, please send your application (resume, cover letter, reference letters and diploma) through our website.
