Retail Marketing Manager Switzerland - Replacement Leave (Fixed-term - 7 months)General Definition / Mission:Lagardère Travel Retail Switzerland operates 14 shops in Geneva, covering Duty Free, Fashion, and Travel Essentials activities, with an annual turnover of approximately 100M. The Retail Marketing Manager is responsible for defining and overseeing the retail marketing plan for the entire scope, in line with internal procedures and set objectives. He/she contributes directly to revenue and margin growth, partner brand development, and the commercial performance of the points of sale, while also ensuring B2B activities. Given the position's importance, he/she is a member of the Management Committee.Main Responsibilities / Tasks:Shop Development and Opening- Actively participate in the opening projects for Travel Essentials (4 new shops).- Contribute to the renewal and development of Duty Free shops, defining and implementing marketing plans for launches and relaunches (openings, reopenings) to maximize commercial impact, visibility, and traffic from the outset.Marketing - Geneva- Define and manage the annual marketing plan (Duty Free, Fashion, Travel Essentials) in line with the overall Lagardère Travel Retail strategy.- Identify targets, priorities, and revenue objectives while adhering to the budget.- Adapt the global strategies to the specificities of Geneva Airport, passenger profiles, and constraints.Digital- Oversee local digital initiatives (social media, website, newsletters).- Develop digital visibility for the shops through content, contests, and outreach.- Monitor digital performance (engagement, traffic, conversion, contribution to revenue).Promotional Management & Performance Monitoring- Design and drive the annual promotional plan, in coordination with the group.- Plan, track, and support the execution of promotional campaigns (production, store setup).- Analyze performance: incremental revenue, ROI, conversion rates, and recommend actions.Brand Management & Revenue- Design and deploy high-impact brand programs across all points of sale, setting clear revenue, sales uplift, and ROI targets for each brand.- Closely coordinate with: teams (on-ground feasibility, planning, resources, stock, quality of execution); central marketing teams; local brands managed directly.- Ensure flawless on-the-ground execution focused on performance: visibility, merchandising, customer journey, adherence to guidelines, and commercial effectiveness.- Challenge and manage agencies based on high business expectations.Central / Local Marketing Hub- Serve as the marketing convergence point in Geneva between the Group, local teams, and partner brand teams.- Ensure constant alignment between marketing ambition, constraints, and commercial performance.- Build fluid relationships with on-ground teams to secure the achievement of revenue targets.- Ensure budget monitoring for Geneva Airport.- Be the preferred marketing contact for Geneva Airport in terms of traffic and integrate into airport programs (annual program, CRM, etc.).- Conduct regular updates with the airport and institutional partners.Skills / Required Qualities:- Excellent understanding of commercial challenges & business acumen.- Strong analytical skills (KPIs, ROI, performance).- Sense of branding, customer experience, and retail aesthetics.- Management of complex, multi-stakeholder projects.- Rigor, autonomy, and ability to prioritize.- Functional leadership and field-oriented mindset.- Agility, and sensitivity when working with brands and external partners.- Strong capability to thrive in a demanding environment. jidd4cdc0eaen jit0415aen jpiy26aen
