The City of Monthey is inviting applications for the following position, open to both women and men: Receptionist for the central desk at 50% for the Chancellery. Your missions:- Welcome and inform citizens at the central reception of the municipality building (in-person and by phone)- Process incoming and outgoing mail as well as its distribution within municipal services- Ensure the handling of incoming and outgoing mail- Perform various tasks at the central reception (daily transport cards, life cards, checking new citizens for health insurance)- Collaborate with the receptions of various municipal services- Manage registration lists related to various municipal events- Manage the office during electionsYour profile:- A sense of hospitality and excellent listening, communication, and management skills for varied requests- Rigor and a sense of responsibility in task execution- Autonomy and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team- Desired experience in a reception role or public environment- Proficiency in standard office tools- Knowledge of languages is an asset- According to the personnel regulations and the municipal pay scale- Presence required on Wednesday afternoons- High flexibility: workdays may vary according to service needsStart date: August 17, or to be agreed upon.
