As a consultant, you will be required to support our clients in the execution of their on-site projects by providing your expertise and skills. You are agile and eager to adapt to different working environments that will fuel your curiosity to see what lies behind the closed doors of the largest projects in our clients’ portfolios.
Railway Architect
Responsibilities
- Participate in defining the electrical architectures of railway systems (traction, power converters, auxiliary equipment, and onboard systems).
- Analyse technical requirements and ensure their breakdown into various subsystems and equipment.
- Conduct electrical studies: sizing, stress analysis, component selection, and definition of technical interfaces.
- Develop and update engineering documentation: specifications, electrical diagrams, technical files, and analysis reports.
- Ensure technical follow-up with suppliers and verify the compliance of proposed solutions with project requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, system integration phases, and monitoring of technical changes.
- Contribute to testing, validation, and commissioning activities of electrical equipment.
Your profile
- Engineering degree or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, Power Electronics, or equivalent field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical engineering, ideally in railways, energy, or industry.
- Good knowledge of electrical design, embedded systems, and integration of complex subsystems.
- Experience with electrical design tools (ECAD) and/or simulation.
- Knowledge of industrial development processes (V-cycle, requirements management, system validation) is an asset.
- Analytical mindset, rigour, and ability to work in an international environment.
- Professional proficiency in French and English.
