Organized into 6 services, the department offers a broad and diverse range of care that includes hospital care, multidisciplinary approaches according to different modalities and intensities, organized according to community principles, as well as specialized programs and units. Integrated clinical and structured teaching of quality is provided by the department for physicians in training, raising awareness about the psychological, biological, and social dimensions. The department also offers structured theoretical training in the three main models of psychotherapy, as well as individual and group supervisions included in the service's curriculum, offering psychosocial and psychotherapeutic treatments to the elderly population of the canton of Geneva as part of a public service mission. The service contributes to the prevention of mental illnesses and the psychosocial consequences of disorders in collaboration with various partners. You are currently pursuing postgraduate education in psychotherapy according to the analytical model and wish to gain clinical experience in a specialized department for the care of elderly adults presenting disorders. You will be responsible for following up (through group therapies and individual therapies) with elderly adults presenting issues, whether or not associated with neurocognitive disorders. These follow-ups are carried out under the supervision of experienced professionals and in collaboration with the teams. You must adhere to institutional guidelines for all matters related to follow-ups and the entry of your data. You hold a Master's degree in psychology. You are in your first or second postgraduate year in analytical psychotherapy or will start this year and will be accepted in September. Prior experience with a population of adults suffering from mental disorders would be an asset. You know how to cope with stress with good working capacities and are adaptable to different types of follow-ups.
