We are looking for a Project Manager - Reserve Power Plant for our Production department

Your mission:

Dedicated to our Thermatel installation operating as a reserve power plant for the Confederation, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager whose main mission is to ensure the overall management of the Thermatel programme and to coordinate all associated investment and maintenance projects.

Furthermore, you guarantee robust, structured and efficient management of the programme, respecting contractual commitments, budgets, deadlines, quality requirements and performance objectives.

Through your actions, you directly contribute to the success of a long-term strategic programme and to positioning CIMO as a reliable player in national electricity supply security.


Your activities:
  • Manage a portfolio of investment and maintenance projects representing a total budget of several tens of millions of francs over the coming years
  • Maintain governance, management methods and programme monitoring processes and improve them if required
  • Plan, coordinate and prioritise the various projects, stages and necessary resources
  • Ensure compliance with contractual commitments, budgets, deadlines and quality requirements
  • Identify, analyse and control technical, financial, organisational and contractual risks
  • Implement performance indicators and provide regular, clear and concise reporting to decision-making bodies (internal and external)
  • Coordinate stakeholders involved in the programme
  • Unite teams around common objectives and facilitate decision-making
  • Structure upcoming actions and ensure their implementation
  • Promote a culture of efficiency, continuous improvement and cost control
  • Ensure smooth information flow between the various programme actors

You have:
  • An engineering-type educational background
  • A recognised certification in project management and/or programme management
  • At least five years of experience managing major, complex projects or multi-project programmes
  • Proven experience managing significant investment budgets and long-term projects
  • Excellent ability to structure, analyse and synthesise complex information
  • Strong communication skills, stakeholder coordination and the ability to unite multidisciplinary teams around common goals
  • Excellent organisational skills, prioritisation and anticipation
  • A strong results orientation, efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Very good command of English, both spoken and written; knowledge of German is an advantage
