The Youth Service (SEJ) has the mission of ensuring that the issues of young people and their needs are taken into account in the development of collective actions in the City of Geneva. It works to promote the socio-professional integration of young people, while preventing the risks of exclusion by strengthening the links between youth and other actors in society. The SEJ also provides night-time monitoring in neighborhoods to reduce the risks of exclusion and promote living well together. In order to guarantee the coherence of its actions, the SEJ collaborates closely with the various stakeholders in the field of youth and socio-cultural work. The SEJ is largely aimed at youth (ages 12-25), though some of its fields of action, particularly in socio-cultural work or social monitoring, concern all inhabitants of the City of Geneva. To complete its team, the service is looking for a Project Manager at 80%.Project Manager at 80%Your mission and responsibilities- Be in charge of coordinating and steering projects on youth issues, in particular those concerning socio-professional integration, and ensure their development.- Direct and plan the service's summer and winter activities. In this context, propose and implement specific activities or events in collaboration with the services and partners concerned.- Support the service management in the development of transversal and ad hoc projects, as well as in administrative tasks. Organize the proper functioning of personnel (logistics and social manager, auxiliaries, interns, monitors, civil service workers, etc.) under the responsibility of the position based on the framework conditions, directives, and processes issued by the administration.Profile- Hold a university Bachelor's degree or a certifying training deemed equivalent.- Justify at least 3 to 5 years of experience in project management in the fields of youth.- Benefit from very good knowledge of the Geneva network, social and socio-cultural institutions, and the local fabric in general.- Be particularly motivated by varied and evolving field work.- Be rigorous with analytical, synthesis, and writing skills.
