We are supporting Swiss Philanthropy in the recruitment of its future project manager for the development and monitoring of several hosted funds and for the development of the project.Swiss Philanthropy is an independent public utility umbrella foundation based in Geneva. Created in [Year], its mission is to encourage philanthropy through the creation and management of philanthropic funds: it offers individuals and organizations facilitated access to philanthropy through a light, agile, and economical structure, thus simplifying their procedures and strengthening the impact of their philanthropy. Swiss Philanthropy has created 100 hosted funds and distributes on average nearly 40 million per year in Switzerland and around the world. The foundation also hosts institutional funds for other foundations as well as for companies. It is active in philanthropy promotion activities where it develops solid partnerships in the fields of continuing education and culture.We provide personalized support to philanthropic projects to contribute to a better world.MissionsManagement and monitoring of a portfolio of hosted funds (philanthropists and companies):- Support and coordination of fund steering committees as well as their potential dedicated staff: contact and organization of meetings, taking minutes, monitoring governance and procedures;- Management of the entire donation distribution process (grantmaking) in collaboration with the steering committee: analysis (due diligence) of the public utility status of beneficiaries, drafting of donation agreements, payments, collection of monitoring reports, and follow-up, if necessary, with experts or consultants or staff dedicated to the activity of the hosted fund;- Steering and monitoring of fund cash flow: monitoring of budgets, commitments, expenses, available balances;- Ensure general monitoring and the smooth running of fund activity on behalf of the foundation in coordination and dialogue with donors and steering committees.Active development of hosted funds and the foundation in the long term:- Contribution to the creation and implementation of new hosted funds: proposal of solutions, participation in discussions, follow-up with a view to deployment of the fund;- Active participation in the development of the foundation and other tasks depending on the opportunities of the foundation, in particular implementation and monitoring of new offers or new services;- Mastery of digital tools: CRM, ERP, Drive (Microsoft suite).Profile- Higher university degree or equivalent.- Confirmed professional experience (minimum 5 years) in the management and monitoring of files and processes, including budget management, ideally acquired in an SME or foundation. Specific expertise is not required.- Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written.
