Join us to train the next generation of Life Sciences professionals and lead applied, industry-focused research in AI-driven biotechnology and medicine.Your mission- Teach, biochemistry, AI, machine learning and related fields in Bachelor and Master degree programs- Establish and lead externally funded research in AI and deep learning for the analysis and interpretation of large-scale biological and multi-omics data (metabolomics, proteomics, glycomics, lipidomics), including predictive modelling and AI-driven phenotypic analysis- Develop and maintain a network with industry professionals for the benefit of the Bachelor s and Master s degree programsYour profile- PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Systems Biology, Chemistry, or a Life Sciences field with strong expertise in IA and machine learning- Industrial experience in a relevant field is an asset- Expertise in deep learning, machine learning and modelling applied to large and complex biological datasets- Experience in explainable AI, multimodal and predictive modelling for biological or biomedical applications is desirable- Interest in industry-oriented research and passion for teaching students- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary academic-industrial settings- Fluent in English, proficiency in French or GermanEmployment: %Place of work: SionStarting: December or to be agreed uponFor further information please contact the director of the School of Engineering.Please submit your application including resume by 2 August by clicking on the Apply button.
