Production Sector Manager (m/f/d)


Sushi Mania, the Swiss leader in fresh sushi and ready-to-eat Asian products, is looking for a hands-on leader passionate about food production to ensure quality and safety while continuously improving operational performance.

What you will achieve

  • Manage the production activities of your sector ensuring deadlines, quality, and food safety are met.
  • Supervise, support and develop the skills of your teams to achieve the set performance objectives.
  • Plan resources and staffing according to activity while ensuring effective management of absences and schedules.
  • Lead the shopfloors and monitor key performance indicators to optimise productivity and reduce waste.
  • Ensure the application of hygiene, safety, quality and sustainability standards within your sector.
  • Actively contribute to continuous process improvement and collaborate with various departments to support the company’s growth.

What you bring

  • Education: Completed vocational training (CFC)
  • Specialisation: Vocational training (CFC) in the food, technical field or equivalent, ideally complemented by higher education (Federal Diploma, ES Technician)
  • Professional experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in managing production teams. Food industry: fresh products, ready meals, industrial bakery, food processing, dairy, meat, etc.
  • Proven experience in managing production teams, ideally in the food industry or an industrial environment.
  • Ability to work in refrigerated environments, manage production using performance indicators and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all hierarchical levels, autonomy, rigour, able to manage priorities and make decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • Good knowledge of hygiene, quality, food safety and occupational safety standards.
  • Aptitude to work in a refrigerated production environment and collaborate effectively with different company departments.
