We will achieve together Engineer - Electricity Production We will achieve together Within the Energy and Industrial Ecology Directorate, the Electricity Production activity has the mission to ensure a stable or growing share of clean production in the electricity supply for SIG's regulated clients. It deals with hydroelectric facilities, their maintenance, and the development of projects in the field of hydroelectric production. Improving the resilience of plant operations, which consists of real-time 24/7 control of SIG hydroelectric facilities, is a challenge. The mission will be to carry out projects or actions enabling the Activity to position itself at the standards level in terms of safety, to deploy new management and operational tools for the control room, and finally to enhance the robustness of the team. As an engineer, you will work closely with the operations team, the monitoring team, and the engineering team. You are part of the Control Unit and Hydroelectric Plants, whose mission is to manage the operation of hydroelectric facilities, providing energy for a sustainable Geneva. As part of your role, you will be responsible for: - Contributing to the implementation and follow-up of cybersecurity measures; - Providing technical support for SCADA (current and future) and system X, level 1; - Assisting in the development of guidelines; - Monitoring the performance of hydroelectric facilities, collaborating on analyses and studies of the facilities; - Occasionally, replacing the operations manager in case of absence; - Acting as a substitute for the operations team manager; - Representing the control room in meetings. Your personality and skills To take on the responsibilities of this position, you possess a good spirit of teamwork and must be able to demonstrate reliability and commitment consistently, as well as a sense of mission accomplishment. You enjoy working on varied projects. Proactive, you are open to new ideas and you must also have very good analytical skills, particularly in problem-solving, and have knowledge in hydroelectricity. Your academic background: You hold an engineering degree from an EPF or HES institution or a recognized equivalent in industrial systems, electricity, or ideally, have experience in the field of hydroelectricity (study and/or management).
