• Job start: Immediately
• Location: Basel, Switzerland
• Contract type: Full-time
• Contract term: Until spring 2027 (although the end date of 1 April 2027 is stated elsewhere in this job advertisement, this is currently still uncertain)

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified primary teacher to start immediately. Must haves:

• The right to work in Switzerland (Swiss and EU nationals and current permit holders)
• Fluent in English (native or C2)

➤ Candidates with a Swiss primary teaching diploma or a foreign diploma accredited by the Swiss authorities are particularly encouraged to apply.

If you are a qualified primary school teacher, and have at least two years’ experience of classroom teaching in an international setting, please submit the following to the Head of Primary at jobs@ela-basel.ch:

• ELABasel application form (CVs can be submitted but the form must be completed)
• PDF copies of appropriate qualifications and certifications
• PDF copies of your passport and permit showing your right to work in Switzerland
