The independence granted by this status allows it to continuously invest in human and technological resources to guarantee the best care for its patients.We are looking for a Medical Assistant for our pre-anesthesia department.Key information about the position:- Type of contract: Permanent contract at 90% (1 variable day off every 2 weeks)- Schedule: Monday to Friday according to 2 schedules: 7:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. / 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.- Start date: As soon as we find the right person- Location: In the heart of Lausanne (M2 Riponne or Bus 2, 3, or 21 stop Beaulieu-Jomini)Why do we need you?To support the activity of our pre-anesthesia department, we are looking for a Medical Assistant who will contribute to offering each patient serene, personalized, and high-quality care. As a true interface between patients, anesthesiologists, and external partners, you will work within a committed team where your technical expertise, your sense of service, and your interpersonal skills will make the difference.What will you be doing?- Ensure the physical and telephone reception of patients, their relatives, and various contacts, while guaranteeing professional and caring support.- Organize and coordinate pre-anesthesia appointments.- Create, check, and prepare medical files for patients for anesthesiologists during consultations and contribute to the smooth running of patient care.- Perform medico-technical procedures within the scope of the Medical Assistant's competencies, including blood draws, electrocardiograms (ECG), Uricult, urine sticks, and nasopharyngeal swabs, upon prescription or medical request (approximately 10% of the activity).- Ensure data entry for billing purposes, process incoming and outgoing mail, and send files to referring practices.- Manage stocks of medical supplies and consumables, ensure their replenishment, and place necessary orders.Who will you be working with?The team includes two dynamic and complementary medical assistants who collaborate closely with the anesthesiologists. Always smiling and in a good mood, they face the challenges of the department together. The Head of Anesthesia, the recovery room, and the pre-anesthesia department has over 25 years of experience in this field.
