As part of our Sigma X department | Site Manager for Plastering and PaintingIn our Sigma X and civil engineering department, we are pleased to collaborate with a renowned construction company based in Valais. To meet their needs, we are actively looking for a site manager for plastering and painting. Site Manager for Plastering and Painting: Technical skills (trade):- Mastery of dry and traditional plastering techniques (partitions, lining, false ceilings).- Knowledge of jointing processes, coatings, and filling.- Expertise in interior/exterior painting, lacquering, coatings, and advances in plans, cuts, and technical diagrams.- Knowledge of DTU standards, trade rules, and those related to finishing work.- Ability to detect anomalies, non-conformities, and risks; understanding of interactions with other trades (electricity, HVAC, carpentry).- Management of the construction site and follow-up of the phases, along with updating the detailed site schedule.- Supervision of internal teams.- Monitoring progress, maintaining the site journal, reporting.- Management of supplies: tools, implementation of SST (Health Safety Work) procedures.- Acceptance of works and management of reserve liftings.Financial management:- Establishment of estimates, budgets, and variants, cost control and resource analysis to improve margins with suppliers and a sense of accountability with the client, the teams, and the architects.- Leadership, capacity to manage and motivate field teams.- Conflict management and ability to find solutions; customer service skills and ability to represent the company.- Attention to detail, strong autonomy.- Ability to work under pressure with multiple sites running in parallel.- Management of priorities and reactivity.Mastery of tools: Excel, Outlook, planning software (MS Project), monitoring tools.Profile:- You hold a degree in the building field (CFC, Technician ES, Federal Certificate or deemed equivalent).- You have confirmed experience in managing finishing works, ideally in plastering, painting, light partitions, or interior layout.- You master the Swiss standards and regulations, as well as the practices related to the Romandy market.- Comfortable with submissions, measurements, offer calculations, and variants, you know how to follow your budgets and optimize costs.- You can plan, coordinate, and lead internal teams and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality.- You demonstrate great autonomy, a keen sense of responsibility, and a results-oriented approach.- You possess excellent communication skills and know how to represent the company to clients, architects, and project managers.- Proficient with digital tools (MS Office, site tracking software, digital plans).- B driving license; good knowledge of the local economic fabric or French-speaking companies is a plus.What we offer:- A dynamic work environment with a skilled team possessing technical know-how and professional skills.- Absolute confidentiality, with a salary related to the position and your skills.- Possibility of continuous training to develop your talents and advance.- Personalized support throughout your mission, with a dedicated contact person.- Access to a diverse network of companies, offering opportunities in various sectors.- Work-life balance opportunities with our missions.- Promotion perspectives, with opportunities for permanent positions with our partner clients.- Simplified process for a quick hiring.Are you interested in this position?
