Description
Conduct advanced statistical analyses of large-scale European cohort data (>20,000 patients) with a focus on joint involvement in systemic sclerosis. Evaluate the prevalence, clinical characteristics, and longitudinal course of SSc-related arthritis. Assess the effectiveness and safety of rheumatologic therapies for SSc-related arthritis through questionnaire-based data collection and analysis. Collaborate with clinical researchers, statisticians, and international partners to ensure high-quality data handling and interpretation.
Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and contribute to conference presentations.
Actively participate in regular project meetings and in the broader PhD training program
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in medicine, life sciences, epidemiology, public health, or a related field
- Solid knowledge of biostatistics and hands-on experience with statistical software, preferably R
- Strong interest in clinical research and autoimmune rheumatic diseases
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) for scientific communication
- Ability to work independently, with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative working style
