For one of our clients, a major French automotive brand, we are looking for an experienced Production Director to join a demanding industrial environment where quality, performance, and operational excellence are key priorities.

In this strategic role, you will oversee and coordinate the full production activity to ensure that operational objectives are achieved in terms of volume, quality, cost, safety, and delivery deadlines.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading and structuring production operations across the industrial site, while ensuring alignment with the company’s overall strategy and production targets.
- Supervising and supporting production teams on a daily basis, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Monitoring industrial performance indicators, analyzing deviations, and implementing corrective action plans to improve productivity and reduce losses.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout all production processes.
- Working closely with maintenance, quality, logistics, engineering, and supply chain teams to secure production continuity and optimize cross-functional coordination.
- Driving lean manufacturing initiatives, process optimization, and industrial excellence projects aimed at improving efficiency and operational reliability.
- Contributing to production planning, capacity management, and resource allocation in order to meet business demands and anticipate constraints.
- Participating in budget preparation and cost control, while identifying opportunities to enhance profitability and operational performance.
- Supporting organizational change, developing team capabilities, and encouraging strong leadership practices at all levels of the production organization.
- Reporting regularly to management on progress, risks, KPIs, and action plans, and proposing strategic recommendations to support decision-making.

You are a senior professional with solid experience in the automotive industry, ideally in a production leadership or operations management role within a large-scale industrial environment.

You bring the following skills and attributes:
- Proven experience in automotive manufacturing, with strong exposure to production management, industrial performance, and operational transformation.
- Excellent command of production processes, industrial constraints, quality standards, and safety requirements specific to the automotive sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, challenge, and develop multidisciplinary teams in a results-oriented environment.
- A structured and analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective measures.
- Good knowledge of lean tools, continuous improvement methods, and industrial excellence practices.
- Ability to manage priorities, handle pressure, and maintain a clear operational vision in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, solution-oriented, and rigorous working style, combined with high standards of professionalism and commitment.
- Fluency in French is required; English and/or other languages may be an advantage in an international industrial context.

This position is offered with a remuneration range of CHF 60,000 to 65,000.
