All of which contribute to making it a quality place. The Fire and Rescue Center (CSI) of Sion is responsible for the protection of people, animals, property, and the environment. It responds to various emergencies such as fires, pollution, and accidents, and also works to prevent fires as well as risks related to hydrocarbons and personal injury. It is organized into six divisions, one of which is the prevention division. This division develops intervention documents (information sheets, emergency plans, procedures), manages key boxes, validates access for new constructions, ensures safety, and provides annual fire risk training to several hundred people. Main missions: intervene in the CSI sector of Sion and provide support as needed, and participate in fallback operations; produce and update the CSI and EMC management documents: information sheets, intervention files, emergency plans, PAI procedures, etc.; organize and lead fire prevention training sessions, manage the update of programs, fallback, and compliance with legal access requirements and requests, and conduct exercises to validate the management documents; support the leader in EMC, PRU, and emergency accommodation missions; assist other CSI divisions with occasional missions or projects; manage projects assigned by the prevention division leader; guarantee on-call service every day of the week, including nights and weekends, according to distribution and commitment; hold a CFC in a technical field; ideally have experience as a fire safety officer; serve as a firefighter within a CSI of category A, B, or C (or equivalent), ideally as an officer, and justify at least 5 years of experience in this field; be or commit to becoming a bearer of a protection device and hold a C driver's license or commit to obtaining it; having specialized training (GRIMP, RAIL, rescue, etc.) is a perfect fit; proficient in French (language or equivalent level); master common tools and the operation of a geoportal and intervention planning; possess the following social skills and aptitudes: rigor, care, and autonomy, ease of teamwork, strong stress resistance, and flexibility in hours; be in good physical condition; reside in the territory served by the intervention corps or commit to doing so.
