For many years, the Department of Women, Children and Adolescents has constantly developed cutting-edge and centers of competence in several medical specialties.The Pulmonology Unit, serving the specialties of the DFEA, takes care of all conditions of the child, ranging from birth to adolescence (asthma, cystic fibrosis, sleep disorders, rare, etc.). It relies on recognized clinical, academic, and research activity, on a complete technical platform (functional tests, specialized tests, bronchial endoscopy, sleep studies), as well as on a multidisciplinary approach.Clinical Head or Senior Registrar with or without a specialty title in the Pulmonology Unit - 100%In the context of the temporary replacement of one of the unit's senior physicians, you will perform clinical and academic activity within the pulmonology team. You will ensure, autonomously, the supervision of the medical hierarchy, the care of hospitalized patients, and in very varied areas: asthma, obstructive diseases of the young child, acute or chronic infectious diseases, cystic fibrosis, ciliary dyskinesia, respiratory follow-up of oncological patients, non-invasive ventilation, interstitial lung diseases, disorders of respiratory control. You will participate and collaborate closely with other specialties and partner services (notably with the general pediatrics service, ENT, immunology, allergology, and pediatric surgery, general oncology).Evolving in a stimulating university environment, within a multidisciplinary team, you will also contribute to the supervision and training of resident physicians as well as that of students. You will participate in postgraduate teaching as well as continuing education in the unit.Dynamic, flexible, and committed, you will participate in and deploy the clinical research and academic development of the unit. You will participate in the on-call system according to the needs of the service.You hold a medical degree as well as an FMH title or possess qualifications deemed equivalent by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO). You are in possession of the right to practice in the canton or are able to obtain it before your start date. Confirmed clinical experience in pulmonology with a specialty in pulmonology obtained or in the process of being obtained is an asset. You ideally possess experience in endoscopy. You are a person recognized for your excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as for your ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
