In order to complete its team, HEMU-CL is announcing a position for: Pedagogical Manager within the framework of the Master's in Music Pedagogy, Instrumental/Vocal Teaching CDI - 40% - Lausanne Your missions: Plan the academic year for students enrolled in the Master's in Music Pedagogy, Instrumental/Vocal Teaching, in collaboration with the program director and with the support of the Student Services (course and activity organization, choice of speakers, distribution of student numbers) Ensure the smooth progress of students' studies: Conduct pedagogical interviews with students (check between the proposed courses and study plans, assist students in managing their studies, advise students on their course choices, address special cases (insufficient work, excessive absences, behavior, etc.) and report, if necessary, to the program director and remind the students of the rules and ensure their compliance Supervise exams, in connection with the relevant services and, if necessary, preside over or participate in exams, as a member, depending on other activities carried out within HEMU, the skill profile, and the type of exam Act as support to the program director by maintaining a permanent and proactive dialogue with various external and internal partners and the teaching staff Manage the distribution of tasks for student assistants and contribute to the proposals and implementation of innovative projects, taking into account feedback and exchanges (students, partners, and professors) and supplementary content to the curriculum Your profile: Master's in Music Pedagogy (or equivalent) Knowledge of higher education curricula Teaching experience, minimum 5 years Supervisory experience, minimum 2 years Fluent in French (written and spoken), good knowledge of English is required Your skills: Autonomy, independence Proactivity and ability to support and advise students Ability to establish a respectful and effective authority relationship with students We offer: A stimulating and varied artistic environment Teamwork with other faculty members and students A workplace with excellent infrastructure and a collegial dynamic A recruitment policy promoting equal opportunity Start date: July 1st or to be agreed upon Workplace: Lausanne – Flon site Salary class: Determined in relation to the LHEV function (RRCM Scale) Recruitment process: 1st round: Friday, May 22 2nd round: Thursday, June 11 Candidates will be informed of the selection based on their application on Wednesday, May 13.
