Patroller (M/F) - Ski Runs Union (SID)

The SID - Ski Runs Union of Rochers de Naye - manages the eponymous ski area, located in an exceptional setting between lake and mountain, accessible only by a rack railway. The area includes:

• Two fixed button lifts
• Two rope tows
• Two Pisten Bully 400 winch snow groomers

The season runs from mid-December to the end of March. We are currently looking for a motivated Patroller to join our dynamic team and contribute to the safety and smooth operation of our ski area.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of skiers on the slopes.
• Carry out rescue interventions in case of accidents.
• Participate in the maintenance and marking of the slopes.
• Monitor weather conditions and assess avalanche risks.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure an optimal experience for visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a patroller or in a similar role.
• Good physical condition and ability to work in demanding winter conditions.
• First aid training (First aid certificate or equivalent).
• Knowledge of mountain rescue techniques and associated equipment.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Fluency in French; any other language is an asset.
