Counting nearly 6, and the Department of with a medical pole centered on the elderly, it is composed of 6 services spread across 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour, and Joli-Mont. It takes care of acute cases, especially through the emergencies of the Trois-Chêne hospital, specific age-related issues, medical service, and medicine, offering a choice of diverse approaches in specialized care intended for the elderly and their relatives. It consists of 36 specialized care beds in Bellerive (28 beds) and 8 beds in Joli-Mont (8 beds), and provides intra-hospital care services across various HUG sites, with a transversal activity. Its mission is to act as a resource for healthcare teams in the field of specialized care by helping them develop competencies in therapeutic project management. Nurse in care - 80% to 100% As a nurse in the care unit at the Joli-Mont Clinic, you autonomously and interprofessionally ensure global and personalized care for patients requiring technical care. In this framework, you identify complexity and adapt care according to the psychological, physical, and spiritual needs of the patients while considering their relatives. You use the appropriate tools for their management and carry out succinct and personalized oral and written communications for follow-up, particularly regarding the care provided. You also carry out a supervisory and educational function towards students and new professionals. This position is part of an inter-service dynamic and includes shifts within another care service (COSPA), promoting the sharing of experiences and the development of competencies. You contribute to improving care quality and engage in professional reflection based on the analysis of care practice.You must hold a Bachelor's degree in nursing or a recognized equivalent nursing diploma by the Red Cross, a CAS in care or equivalent title, as well as any other relevant certification in pain management or care. A minimum of 2 years of hospital experience is required, particularly in caring for patients. You master acute technical care and monitoring related to the patient condition. You are comfortable handling patient care and demonstrate strong capabilities. In your professional journey, you have managed stressful situations and taken initiative to work quickly and autonomously. Moreover, you are recognized for your ability to prioritize tasks, your team spirit, and your competence in teamwork. You work interprofessionally to unite all partners around a common vision in drafting care projects for optimal management of patients and their relatives.
