### **Context & Environment** ###

# Your mission #

As part of the Optimization Services team, you will design, develop, deploy and support the Data Science models of the team-s systems/applications.

The Optimization Services team focuses on the multi-market multi-asset optimizations of short-term power trading. We are part of the Gas & Power IT department for the Trading business lines of the TotalEnergies company, whose main office is in Geneva with a presence on other continents (Singapore, Houston, Dubaï, etc.).

TotalEnergies Gas & Power Trading (TGP) and its affiliates has a large and complex systems environment, which is evolving with the expansion of the power trading business and its impact on trading IT.   To accompany these evolutions, the Optimization Services team participates in a significant change program that will have notable impacts both on the short-term and the long-term. In this context, the team is leveraging Data Science and Mathematical Constrained Optimization, in particular MILP.

This role is global and focuses on the tools used by the front office and the integration into the overall energy management systems. The continuation of the systems performance, availability, and resilience, as well as scalability, need to be assured.
