What we will achieve together
The Thermal Operations unit’s mission is to guarantee SIG customers a quality supply of thermal energy, while ensuring continuous operation within a safe framework. It is notably responsible for the maintenance and operation of key thermal networks, such as Geniterre and Genilac.
Your energy in the service of a sustainable Geneva
- Participate in the preventive and corrective maintenance of production, distribution equipment and substations (reporting faults in the CMMS, coordinating with external contractors, carrying out repairs and preventive maintenance, meter readings)
- Operate, manage and adjust installations to ensure continuity of supply and energy optimisation
- Optimise the performance of installations (heat pump performance coefficients, boiler efficiencies, hydraulic balancing)
- Adjust regulation parameters in the controllers
- Contribute to increasing the share of renewable energies in the installations
- Ensure rigorous monitoring of interventions and operational data
Your personality and skills
- Team spirit, easy communication, availability, stress management, open-mindedness, ability to learn
- Strong technical skills in at least one of the following fields: electricity, mechanics, automation, refrigeration or thermal
- Participation in an on-call service
- Residence located within a maximum of 30 minutes from the Lignon site
- Aptitude for working at heights and in confined spaces requiring good physical condition
- Clean criminal record required for certain client accesses
Desired training
- Federal VET Diploma or technical school diploma in a technical field (electricity, automation, mechanics, refrigeration, thermal or equivalent)
