Our Market business unit's mission is to lay the foundations for a successful energy transition by enabling everyone to contribute. It develops innovative solutions based on flexible assets (photovoltaics, batteries, power-to-heat and e-mobility). To complete our Electricity Supply & Products team at the Morges site, we are looking for a
Operation Manager "Flexibility" (M/F) 80% - 100% - 6-month fixed-term contract (permanent contract possible afterwards)
Profile
- HES or EPF engineer - Bachelor level - in a technical field or equivalent training
- Experience in the energy sector, experience in a startup would be particularly appreciated
- Sector knowledge in IoT solutions and communication systems applied to energy (e.g. smart gateway, EMS systems, routers / local communication infrastructures)
- Very good level of Excel required, Power BI and Python a great plus
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and electronics
- Knowledge of energy markets and portfolio logics a plus
- Strong interest and skills in technology and innovation (agility, flexibility, process building)
- Fluent French and professional English (min C1)
- Strong organisational and structuring skills
- Great interest and knowledge of the energy transition, environment and future technologies
- High autonomy, proactivity, strong sense of initiative, excellent communication skills to unite cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Develop and ensure the proper functioning of the value chain of flexible assets (PV, batteries, power-to-heat) by coordinating key steps, from finalising the sale to technical deployment, then to ongoing operation. Initially, the focus will be on a virtual power plant of photovoltaic assets.
- Ensure technical monitoring and smooth integration of new flexible assets within the VPP (Virtual Power Plants) platform, in collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
- Act as the central contact point and facilitator between internal teams (Sales, Operations, IT, Billing) and external partners to align objectives and resolve bottlenecks.
- Implement and monitor performance indicators (KPIs) of the assets, ensure the quality of reported data, reporting and ensure compliance of the client billing process.
- Identify opportunities to optimise deployment and operation processes with a view to industrialising the "flexibility" offer
