Machine Operator (OMA)
Job Description
As a machine operator (OMA), your main tasks will be:
- Starting, simple adjustment and stopping of automated production or packaging machines
- Continuous monitoring of the proper functioning of equipment and production parameters
- Supplying machines with raw materials and consumables
- Checking the conformity of products during and at the end of production (quality, weight, appearance, labelling)
- Detecting and reporting anomalies, breakdowns or process deviations
- Cleaning and first-level maintenance of machines according to instructions
- Shift work in 2x8 hours
Profile Sought
We are looking for motivated, rigorous candidates capable of meeting deadlines while maintaining good customer relations. The ideal candidate has:
- Proven experience as an operator of automated machines in the food or pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of HACCP standards and machine safety rules
- Fluency in French
- Rigour, precision and a sense of responsibility
- A keen sense of quality, hygiene and safety
- Good resistance to stress and production pace
- Reliability, punctuality and respect for procedures
