With more than 160 jobs represented, the Geneva University Hospitals are a reference institution in the field of clinical neuroscience. This department provides care to patients of all ages, children and adults, with neuro-surgical, neurological, ophthalmological, and otorhinolaryngological needs. The care is adapted to the needs and difficulties of the patients, from the most acute sectors (intermediate care units) to the less acute sectors of the department, aiming to restore the patient's autonomy through education, support, and follow-up. It ensures the necessary assistance to facilitate an early return home. In the same perspective, care treatments are also prioritized and activities optimized to facilitate access to care in a timely manner.As an occupational therapist, you will ensure, under medical prescription, occupational therapy treatments for patients of the Orthopedic Service, mainly in surgery. You will manage and update patient files by documenting interventions and clinical notes. You will register and/or bill for treatments and establish therapeutic goals during interdisciplinary meetings (notably with surgeons, physiotherapists, and specialized occupational therapists). You will participate in the projects of occupational therapist teams and the Surgery and Neuroscience departments. You must have a degree in occupational therapy (HES) or an equivalent degree. You are proficient in basic tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and have a strong interest or clinical expertise in hand therapy (splints and orthopedics). You are an autonomous person with significant availability and a well-developed sense of priorities. You manage stress well in the face of multiple simultaneous tasks and demonstrate analytical and synthesis skills. You are dynamic, capable of communicating and working in a team, with a sense of responsibility, reliability, and flexibility.This position requires a flexible schedule, spread over 5 days from Monday to Friday.
