Head Nurse of Care UnitsLa Clinique de La Source is a unique multidisciplinary acute care facility. It belongs to La Source, an independent, private, non-profit institution that also oversees the Institut et Haute École de la Santé La Source. The independence this confers allows it to continuously invest in human and technological resources to guarantee the best care for its patients.We are looking for a Head Nurse of Care Units.Key information about the position:- Type of contract: Permanent, 100%- Start date: As soon as we find the right person- Location: In the heart of Lausanne (M2 Riponne or Bus 2, 3, or 21, Beaulieu-Jomini stop)Why do we need you?Following the departure of the current position holder and the evolution of the Nursing Directorate, driven by the arrival of a new Director of Nursing, we are looking for a Head Nurse of Care Units to support this new dynamic.What will you be doing?- Manage and optimize nursing activities in collaboration with managers, to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality care for our patients.- Work closely with the Director of Nursing on the development of the department, as well as the promotion and deployment of nursing activities in compliance with institutional policy, and ensure their substitution in case of absence.- Promote a managerial culture based on trust, transparency, and respect, by fostering the autonomy and accountability of managers and care teams (149 FTE).- Support the development of professional skills for staff and managers, by defining the necessary axes and training plans to achieve objectives.- Contribute to the budgetary management of the department (FTE, medical supplies, equipment) and to risk and quality management through institutional dashboards.- Lead and implement projects that will meet the challenges of today and tomorrow, acting as a true driver of continuous quality improvement in care.Who will you be working with?Joining the team of the Director of Nursing means evolving alongside a manager who combines clinical expertise, vision, and proximity to their teams.
