Lavaux Hospital is a private foundation recognised as being of public interest, a member of the Vaud Hospitals Federation. Located in Cully (Bourg-en-Lavaux) amidst the vineyards, close to public transport, it offers a privileged environment.

At Lavaux Hospital, our human-scale medical team includes, among others, six assistant doctors who cover mandates from six months to one year. Aware of and committed to our role in the basic training of tomorrow's caregivers, we also actively collaborate with regional nursing schools and welcome around twenty nursing students per year, as well as APS, ASSC, Occupational Therapy and Red Cross interns.

Mission

  • Provide quality nursing care to residents respecting their needs, life habits and care plan.
  • Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of individualised care plans.
  • Ensure clinical follow-up of residents and continuity of care.
  • Work closely with doctors, relatives and all professionals involved in residents' care.
  • Actively participate in supervising students, interns and new employees.
  • Contribute to maintaining and developing quality interdisciplinary care.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional procedures as well as quality and safety of care.

Profile sought

  • Bachelor in nursing or equivalent recognised qualification in Switzerland.
  • Professional experience in geriatrics, psychogeriatrics or nursing homes.
  • Strong interest in supporting elderly people.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills.
  • Sense of responsibility and ability to work independently while promoting interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Comfortable using common IT tools.
  • Holder of a CAS in Trainer Practitioner (PF) or FEE certification, an advantage.
