IMAD is a pioneering and reference institution for home care in the canton of Geneva. It provides care, support, prevention, and health promotion services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, to more than [number removed] people of all ages, 25% of whom are under 65.Nurse at the Mobile Social Emergency Unit (UMUS) / at 80% / Permanent contractThe Mobile Social Emergency Unit (UMUS), composed of nurses and social workers, intervenes in situations mainly related to violence and precariousness in collaboration with the socio-sanitary network. The team works in pairs from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM on weekdays and 24 hours a day on weekends and public holidays.Missions and responsibilities- Evaluate the urgency of the request emanating from a professional in the Geneva socio-sanitary network and respond to it as quickly as possible or direct the user to a more suitable service.- Intervene and conduct, jointly with the social worker, a socio-sanitary assessment by bringing clinical expertise to this analysis by quickly evaluating the health and psychological state of the user.- Propose to the client and their entourage means aimed at reducing the intensity of the crisis or the perceived emergency; offer listening and support, aiming to restore the user to their balance and that of their entourage.- Take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of the user, their entourage, and the intervention pair.- Proceed with the written assessment of each intervention by documenting with precision the services offered as well as the solution(s) chosen by and for the user.- Evaluate the relevance of the care provided for each intervention.- Participate in team meetings and supervisions, outside of intervention hours.- Actively intervene in sessions with students.Profile- Degree in nursing from the HEDS or equivalent title.- CAS or DAS in a specialty related to specific care would be a plus.- Ability to manage crisis situations.- Ease in communication and aptitude for appropriate positioning when dealing with various interlocutors.- Very good knowledge of the Geneva socio-sanitary network.- Experience in the fields of exclusion, precariousness, care of minors, or mental health would be an additional asset.Application deadline: [Date removed]Start date: as soon as possiblePlease attach to your file:- a current curriculum vitae- a cover letter- copies of your work certificates and diplomasWe only consider complete applications.We guarantee total confidentiality in the processing of your file. jid825d25daen jit0624aen jpiy26aen
