Description
Mission
The IT Support & Logistics Technician is responsible for the preparation, installation, relocation, and maintenance of the company’s computer equipment. They provide logistical support related to workstations and participate in relocation, layout, and equipment renewal projects to ensure a functional working environment for employees.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare, configure, and install workstations (PCs, monitors, docking stations, peripherals).
- Install, replace, and upgrade monitors and other computer equipment.
- Uninstall and reinstall equipment during position changes or reorganisations.
- Participate in office moves and workspace layout projects.
- Move computer equipment between different sites or departments.
- Ensure basic cabling of workstations (power, network, peripherals).
- Carry out inventories and keep the computer equipment stock up to date.
- Prepare equipment for new employees and recover equipment upon departures.
- Diagnose simple hardware issues and replace faulty equipment.
- Coordinate the collection, recycling, and disposal of computer equipment according to current procedures.
- Ensure proper organisation of IT equipment storage areas.
- Collaborate with the IT team for mass deployments and infrastructure projects.
- Document interventions and update tracking tools.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of computer hardware (PCs, monitors, printers, docking stations, accessories).
- Basic knowledge of Windows environment and Microsoft 365.
- Ability to install and connect network equipment and peripherals.
- Organisational skills and rigour in equipment management.
- Good physical condition allowing handling and transport of equipment.
- Team spirit and service orientation.
- Autonomy, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple interventions simultaneously.
Desired Profile
- Training in computer science, technical support, or equivalent experience.
- First experience in local IT support or IT logistics is an advantage.
- Driving licence (depending on company needs).
- Fluency in French; technical English is an asset.
