As a Merchandiser, you are responsible for the decoration of Swatch stores in French-speaking Switzerland. In this key role for the brand's image, you ensure the attractive appearance of the stores and apply the Visual Merchandising decoration guidelines.

Job description

  • Overall responsibility for Visual Merchandising for Swatch and Flik Flak in French-speaking Switzerland, Valais, Jura and Bernese region, including implementation of guidelines and adherence to brand image
  • Installation of attractive window displays and impactful scenographies to enhance visual impact and capture customers' attention
  • Regular visits to points of sale according to commercial priorities, with checks on assortment and decoration materials
  • Product placement and application of merchandising plans inside sales areas, ensuring a coherent and high-quality presentation
  • Optimisation of the customer journey and adaptation of sales spaces according to new products, stock rotations and commercial objectives
  • Monitoring and performance analysis: tracking key indicators (sales, conversion rates) and observing market and competitor trends
  • Training, motivating and supporting sales teams to ensure optimal collection setup and impeccable display maintenance
  • Proposing new locations or activation ideas to energise promotions and improve in-store visibility
  • Support during events and promotions: preparation, installation and coordination of special decorations or VM projects
  • Administrative management including weekly planning, expense tracking and coordination of field interventions

Profile

  • Creativity and aesthetic sense: excellent mastery of space, volumes, colours and light
  • Technical and manual skills: ease in handling tools and creating visual installations
  • Rigor and organisation: simultaneous management of several projects and strict adherence to schedules related to new collections
  • Interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively with store managers and unite teams around a visual project
  • Open and communicative personality, with an enthusiastic and solution-oriented attitude
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial behaviour: taking initiatives and constantly seeking improvements
  • Ability to assert oneself and enforce presentation standards
  • Autonomous work and sense of responsibility in field missions
  • Availability to travel, including overnight stays
  • Organisational talent and effective priority management
  • Flexibility and adaptability to unforeseen events
  • Stress resistance in a dynamic and demanding environment
  • Sales experience considered an asset

Professional requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools for planning, reporting and internal communication

Languages

Ideally, you reside in French-speaking Switzerland and speak French fluently. German and English are advantages.
