Mission:

Perform medical genetics analyses in compliance with quality standards, ensure the reliability of results, and contribute to the smooth operation and development of laboratory activities.

Main tasks:

• Record laboratory requests.

• Manage and distribute analysis requests.

• Perform molecular biology analyses (qPCR, Fragment Analysis, Sanger sequencing, NGS, NIPT).

• Carry out maintenance and servicing of analytical systems.

• Participate in the development of new diagnostic tests and the continuous improvement of laboratory services.

• Write and update procedures to ensure traceability and quality of operations.

• Monitor equipment and manage reagents to contribute to the smooth running of the laboratory.

• Hold a Biomedical Analysis Technician diploma.

• Have experience in a medical genetics laboratory.

• Possess practical experience with NGS technologies.

• Have experience in an accredited laboratory.

• Demonstrate rigour, organisation, and good stress management.

• Show a strong ability to adapt to technological developments and changes.

• Be proficient in French; knowledge of German, English, or Italian is an advantage.
