The position is in the Department whose mission is to ensure the management and logistics necessary for the proper functioning of all HUG, including cleaning and disinfection of premises and laundry hygiene. It also manages the reprocessing service for medical devices, the biomedical service, and equipment, as well as Cressy-Santé. More than professionals carry out their missions daily with a constant concern for quality, service, and responsibility within the medical device reprocessing service composed of about 90 people, under the responsibility of the management team. Your mission is to ensure the reprocessing of medical devices as a medical device technologist.Medical Device Technologist - 100% You perform all steps of the reprocessing process, namely: pre-treatment, reception, sorting, cleaning, disinfection, packaging, reprocessing, and distribution of these medical devices. You possess the necessary professionalism to inform stakeholders in case of questions or problems. You are aware of the responsibilities that fall upon you and the importance of your actions and behavior toward the process, which is part of good practices and in compliance with the quality policy in place. Ideally, you hold a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a Medical Device Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting. Experience in the field of packaging is a plus. You have a good command of spoken and written French (minimum B2 level required). You are familiar with basic office software such as Excel and Word, as well as email communication. You are a discreet and rigorous person. You enjoy working according to quality procedures.Your ease of communication, team spirit, and sense of service allow you to work and collaborate smoothly within a multidisciplinary team, and you can adapt to unforeseen circumstances and workload variations due to your flexibility. Due to the nature of activities and hours in 3x8 shifts, availability and excellent physical condition are essential. Irregular hours (evening, night, weekend, and additional days) are required for this position, with the medical device reprocessing service operating 365 days a year.
