Our dynamic team does everything possible to offer you prospects related to your project in response to the needs of one of our clients, a Vaud hospital center, we are looking for a medical device reprocessing technician for the central reprocessing of medical devices – Central (M/F). Your mission: Master the entire process of reprocessing medical devices, in line with the needs of the departments and in strict compliance with quality and institutional guidelines. Ensure the proper functioning of equipment related to the activity and report any malfunctions. Carry out cleaning, maintenance, packaging, and self-monitoring of the resources provided. Guarantee traceability, compliance, and quality of reprocessed medical devices and support the permanent and temporary staff assigned to the activity. Rigorously apply current procedures and actively participate in their updating and continuous improvement. Work according to variable hours including evenings (1:00 PM to 10:00 PM), weekends, public holidays as well as on-call duty. Evolve in a technical and demanding environment (noise, heavy lifting, confined spaces). Required skills: Mastery of reprocessing processes and technical equipment control in accordance with quality, hygiene, and hospital safety standards. Traceability of devices and production software. Ability to train and convey good practices. Attention to detail and strict adherence to procedures. Physical endurance and adaptability to a demanding environment. Profile: Holder of a CFC in medical technology or a diploma as an assistant technician level 1 (STE1), with a relevant CFC for the role. Minimum of 1 year of experience in the paramedical, hospital field, or in a similar function. Manual dexterity and strong interest in technical equipment. Precise, meticulous, methodical, adaptable, and responsible individual who enjoys teamwork. Good command of oral and written French (B2 level required). Comfortable with office tools and production software. Ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
