L OSEO Vaud, Swiss Workers' Aid, is a center for social and professional integration for anyone seeking employment, managing 11 programs across 12 sites located in Vevey, Lausanne, Yverdon-les-Bains, and Morges, where you can learn a concrete and useful trade! During the 36 months (CFC) or 24 months (AFP) of this comprehensive training, you will develop professional and social skills while discovering the realities of working life. You will have the opportunity to lay a solid foundation for a career that you will build during your apprenticeship: You will actively contribute to the quality of life and comfort of your colleagues while developing your sense of service and professional skills in the following areas: maintaining and cleaning various spaces such as offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, and windows using different professional machines, including: industrial, single-brush, scrubber, and other modern equipment; taking care of laundry, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and storing it using products and equipment such as: detergents, washing machines and dryers, calenders, mannequins, and ironing equipment; managing supplies: storing, dosing, and placing orders; adopting responsible ecological and economic practices: participating in the sorting and disposal of waste; working autonomously and as part of a team, learning and applying the methods and techniques of the housekeeping manager profession. What we expect from you: You are motivated, responsible, and willing to learn: you have completed your education and obtained your school leaving certificate; you have the desire to learn and progress throughout your apprenticeship; you can work in a team and communicate well and want to develop these skills; you are reliable, aware, and responsible; you have a sense of responsibility, a concern for quality work, and wish to fully engage in your role; your goal is to obtain your CFC or AFP as a housekeeping manager and to organize yourself for success, both in class and at your workplace.
