Thanks to your experience in warehousing and transport as well as your confident handling of systems and industrial trucks, you work efficiently in a team, lend a hand physically and keep an overview even in hectic phases.

What you achieve

• Responsibility for the proper receipt of seafood deliveries including checking completeness, cold chain and product quality (freshness, hygiene)
• Temperature-appropriate storage of goods (chilled and frozen storage), correct labelling (date, batch, origin) and ensuring the FIFO principle
• Careful recording of all goods receipts in the merchandise management system (e.g. SAP), maintenance of inventory data and monitoring of best-before dates and batches
• Compliance with high hygiene and safety standards according to HACCP, including cleaning/disinfection of storage areas and wearing the prescribed protective clothing
• Close cooperation and communication with scheduling, purchasing and internal transport or forwarding teams as well as active participation in warehouse organisation and inventories

What you bring

• Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ)
• Specialisation: Logistician
• Professional experience: Several years of experience in logistics/warehousing
• Confident handling of warehouse management systems (e.g. SAP) as well as driving authorisation and practical experience in the use of industrial trucks (forklift/pallet truck)
• Sound knowledge of warehouse processes (goods receipt, order picking, packaging, shipping, inventory)
• Reliable, precise and physically resilient personality with strong organisational skills and team orientation
• Safety- and hygiene-conscious, independent working style with good time management and customer-oriented manner
• German (C1)
