Vandœuvres, Geneva | Start date: As soon as possible BeeBoo is looking for an experienced, warm and proactive nanny for a family based in Vandœuvres, who is looking for a long-term position and wishes to build a genuine relationship of trust with the children and the family. The family is expecting their second child, due in November 2026. The aim is for the future nanny to join the family as soon as possible at approximately 50%, allowing her to gradually settle into the family routine and build a strong bond with the eldest child, before transitioning to a full-time position following the arrival of the baby.

The profile we are looking for

Above all, the family is looking for someone who is loving, gentle, caring and naturally comfortable with children, with solid experience caring for newborns. The nanny should also enjoy caring for a 5-year-old child and be able to engage them through creative activities, games, outings and age-appropriate activities that support their development. Beyond childcare, the family is looking for someone with a genuine family-oriented mindset, who enjoys contributing to the smooth running of a household and making everyday life easier. The ideal nanny will be proactive, organised and able to anticipate the family's needs without always waiting for instructions. The family already employs someone who is responsible for housekeeping, so this is not a housekeeping position. However, the nanny will naturally contribute to everyday family life, including tidying up after the children and general day-to-day organisation, running small errands, and organising and preparing meals, including occasionally preparing dinner for the family.

Working schedule

The position will ideally begin as soon as possible at approximately 50%, with the initial schedule to be agreed with the family, before developing into a full-time position of approximately 40 to 45 hours per week. In the longer term, the schedule will be organised Monday to Friday, with some flexibility depending on the family's needs. For example, certain days may occasionally follow a later schedule, such as 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The family is looking for someone who is genuinely flexible, as some periods may be busier while others may be lighter depending on the family's schedule and the children's needs. Occasional evening or weekend babysitting may also be offered. The nanny should be comfortable travelling and flexible enough to occasionally accompany the family on trips.
