Litigation & Legal Manager



Job description:

  • Ensure the follow-up of legal and litigation files under the supervision of the head of the department and based on the instructions of the owners and internal directives.
  • Manage the necessary legal proceedings to protect the interests of our clients.
  • Draft correspondence to tenants/co-owners and handle all requests and complaints.
  • Prepare periodic reports for certain owners.
  • Carry out and monitor the filing of debt collection proceedings, eviction requests, payment demands, legal mortgages, etc.
  • Prepare and issue reminders, formal notices, summons to tenants/co-owners as well as lease terminations in case of non-payment.
  • Draft and review various contractual documents, deeds and agreements.
  • Ensure the follow-up of payments from tenants/co-owners in collaboration with the accounting departments (PPE and property management) and Property Management.
  • Represent the company at hearings before judicial authorities (in Geneva, Fribourg, Neuchâtel, Vaud and Valais).

We require:

  • Extensive knowledge of Swiss tenancy law.
  • Experience in Swiss property management, in the litigation and/or legal field.
  • Good command of IT tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy, pragmatism, and a helpful and cheerful personality.
  • Driving licence.
  • English is an advantage.
  • Being organised.

Start date: Immediately or to be agreed

Work rate: 100%
